The 31st annual R. Thanksgiving Feast was today! It was so much fun and every classroom smelled so delicious. All of the individual classes prepare a Thanksgiving meal for the students to enjoy along with 2 guests per child. We served over 1200+ family members today if you combine our elementary & primary buildings! Wow! Elly invited Grandma Vicki & daddy. Maddy invited Aunt Katy & mommy. Sadly, Grandma Vicki got the flu on Tuesday! (She is feeling much better tonight! :) ) Luckily, Aunt Katy could go to both girls' feasts.

Here are some photos from Elly's feast...

Elly had 3 of these yummy pumpkin bars!
Aunt Katy & Maddy enjoyed some turkey talk!

Maddy's class made napkin rings & napkins for their guests along with placecards.

Maddy's favorite food was the turkey...she used her knife & fork so carefully! :)

Thank you so much, Maddy & Elly, for inviting us to your feasts! The food that you prepared was so yummy and all of your hard work shaking cream into butter, grinding cranberries, cutting veggies for the stuffing, shaping rolls, peeling & mashing the potatoes really made the feast special.
I am especially thankful that there was only one injury. It happened while Maddy was helping to peel and cut potatoes on Monday.

I am so sorry I had to miss your feast, but glad Aunt Katy could come.
